What is “The Sammy”?
It is a Spring Social Event for ALL St Peter Chanel Alumni
Three years ago, we wanted to have an annual seasonal get together for the Chanel Family. Brett Holycross, a special Chanel supporter and owner of Sirna’s in Bedford has graciously offered us specials that day for food and drinks!
A few alumni wanted to also play golf in the am at Shawnee in Bedford, so we reserved 15 tee times starting at 9:20 am (staggered by 10 minutes in-between).
Gary Mundson 74” brought in a pink golf ball the first year and gave it to Coach Fiorentino with “The Sammy” on it, creating a name for the event.
We added a few auction items last year and are always interested in alumni input to make this a better and bigger event each year.
Join us at Sirna’s from approximately 12pm until 4pm.
Sirna’s is also an hosting a 80th Birthday bash for former Chanel Alum and Coach Ed Govang starting at 4pm, please considered at least stopping to wish him a HB!
